Microsoft Copilot, set up properly for your team

Roles and licensing, data and permission boundaries checked before rollout, company instructions, a few working first workflows and written usage rules — configured in your own Microsoft 365 tenant.

Direct LATYNEX delivery

Direct answer

Copilot is only as safe and useful as the Microsoft 365 tenant underneath it — it answers using whatever a user's existing permissions already expose, which means a permissions problem that was harmless before Copilot can become a real data-exposure problem after it. Implementation means checking that first, then setting up licensing and roles, company-specific instructions, a few workflows tested on real tasks, and written usage rules — the same pattern as AI Implementation for Business, specifically for a Microsoft 365 environment.

What an implementation covers

  • A check of SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams permissions before rollout — Copilot surfaces whatever a user could already technically reach
  • Licensing and role setup for the people who actually need it
  • Company-specific instructions and starter prompts for real, recurring tasks
  • Two or three workflows tested on your team's actual work — meeting summaries, document drafting, data lookups
  • Written usage rules: what may go into Copilot and what may not
  • One onboarding session and handoff documentation

The permissions check, specifically

This is the part teams most often skip and most often regret. Copilot doesn't have its own separate permission model — it answers from what the signed-in user's Microsoft 365 account can already see. If file and folder permissions are looser than anyone realised, Copilot makes that visible in a way a human clicking through folders manually never would. We check this before rollout, not after someone asks Copilot the wrong question.

How this differs from AI Implementation for Business

AI Implementation for Business is the platform-neutral version — for a team choosing between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, or using more than one. This page is specifically for a Microsoft 365 environment, where the permissions layer is the thing that makes Copilot different from setting up a standalone chat tool.

Limits

We do not resell Microsoft 365 or Copilot licences, and we do not claim partner status with Microsoft. We do not promise productivity figures, and we do not run a full information-governance audit — the permissions check here is scoped to what matters before a Copilot rollout, not a general security review. Where a genuine security or compliance question goes beyond that, we say so rather than answering it ourselves.

How it works

  1. 1

    Inspect

We look at what you actually have today — accounts, roles, tools, data, who uses what — read-only where the system allows it, before anyone proposes changing anything.

  2. 2

    Understand the current setup

What works, what is duplicated, what is unowned, and where work leaks between tools. You get this in writing, in plain language.

  3. 3

    Implementation plan

A scoped plan with clear boundaries: what gets configured, what stays as is, what is deliberately left out, and what needs a decision from you first. Scope and price are agreed in writing before configuration starts.

  4. 4

    Configure

The plan is carried out inside your own accounts, through access you grant and can withdraw. Changes that touch people, money or customer data wait for your explicit approval.

  5. 5

    Handoff

Documentation of what was set up and why, a short walkthrough for the people who will run it, and a clear line on what is yours to operate from now on.

Questions

Do we need Microsoft 365 already?+

Yes — this is implementation on top of an existing Microsoft 365 tenant and Copilot licensing, not a Microsoft 365 migration.

Will Copilot expose files it shouldn't?+

That's exactly what the permissions check is for. Copilot surfaces whatever a signed-in user's account can already technically reach, so we check SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams permissions before rollout.

Are you a Microsoft partner?+

No, and we do not claim partner status with Microsoft. We implement Copilot in your own tenant; you hold the licences.

How is this different from AI Implementation for Business?+

Same pattern, specific to Microsoft 365 — the permissions check is the main thing that differs, since Copilot inherits your existing file and folder permissions.

How are you invoiced, and in what currency?+

In EUR, by Latynex Trade OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (EU). We do not give tax advice.
