As published by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia, e-invoicing is phased by annual turnover, from 1 August 2024 for the largest taxpayers through to 1 January 2026 for taxpayers up to RM5 million, and taxpayers below RM3,000,000 annual turnover or revenue are exempt (as published — confirm current rules with your tax or legal adviser). Those RM figures are the regime's published thresholds, not LATYNEX prices. Unlike a network-based model, MyInvois is submitted to directly: taxpayers integrate their own ERP through standardised APIs, or use an intermediary system built to process invoices on their behalf.
LATYNEX Digital builds the workflows around that submission. This page covers that work for Kuala Lumpur businesses. The general service is at Workflow Automation & Systems Integration, and the market overview is at LATYNEX Digital for businesses in Kuala Lumpur.
Typical industries
- Trading, wholesale and distribution
- Retail and F&B groups with POS systems
- Manufacturing and industrial suppliers
- Professional and business services
- Logistics and freight services
- Property and construction services
Common lead-handling problems
- POS or ERP data lacking mandatory fields when an invoice is assembled
- Rejected or invalid submissions with no owner and no retry path
- Companies near the exemption threshold unsure whether they are in scope
- API credentials held by one person, with no controlled access or record of use
Direct answer
If your Kuala Lumpur company must submit e-invoices to MyInvois, LATYNEX builds the workflow between your ERP, POS or order system and the submission step: it assembles and validates each invoice's data, handles the API credentials and access under your control, submits through your own API integration or hands over to your intermediary, and routes rejected or invalid submissions to a queue with an owner.
Why the global workflow page and the Kuala Lumpur hub are not enough
The global Workflow Automation & Systems Integration page is general, and the Kuala Lumpur hub covers the market. MyInvois is a direct-submission model, with a sandbox for testing and both XML and JSON supported as published. The work therefore includes credentials, environment separation, validation before submission and rejection handling, which a European network-based regime does not put in the same place.
Two routes, and what each changes
Which route fits depends on your systems and volume, and is decided in a technical review.
- Direct: your ERP or a workflow layer calls the MyInvois APIs itself, so we build validation, submission, status polling and the rejection queue
- Via an intermediary: an intermediary system processes invoices on your behalf, so we build the export from your systems to it and a way to reconcile what it returns
- In both routes: test against the sandbox first, keep test and live credentials separate and log every submission and response
What we build, and what stays with you
We build field mapping, pre-submission checks (for example missing mandatory fields on POS-originated data), a rejection queue with an owner, a submission log and a written handover. Taxpayer registration, the credentials themselves, the choice of intermediary and the decision on whether you are in scope stay with you and your adviser. Integrations are scoped per project, through an API or webhook where the system supports it, after technical review; older ERPs may need custom scope.
What we do not do
LATYNEX is not an intermediary, is not registered with the tax authority, is not endorsed by it, does not give tax advice and does not deliver in Malay. We do not tell you whether your turnover puts you in scope; that is for your tax adviser.
How delivery actually works
LATYNEX Digital has no office in Kuala Lumpur and does not claim one. We work with Kuala Lumpur businesses remotely, over video calls and written updates, in English, with the same team and process as in every other market.
Questions
Do you have an office in Kuala Lumpur?+
No. We work with businesses in Kuala Lumpur remotely, over video calls and written updates, in English, and we do not imply a local presence.
Are you a MyInvois intermediary?+
No. LATYNEX is not an intermediary and is not registered with the tax authority. We build workflows around your own API integration or around the intermediary you choose.
Are we exempt because of our turnover?+
We do not give tax advice. As published, taxpayers below RM3,000,000 annual turnover or revenue are exempt, which is the regime's threshold and not a LATYNEX figure; confirm your position with your tax adviser or the authority.
Can you connect our ERP or POS to MyInvois?+
We do not claim prebuilt connectors. Integrations are scoped per project, through an API or webhook where the system supports it, after technical review; some systems need custom scope or an intermediary.
How do you handle our credentials?+
They stay in your control. We design for separate test and live credentials, restricted access and a log of use, and we do not ask you to share credentials in email.
How are you invoiced, and in what currency?+
In EUR, by Latynex Trade OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (EU). Tax treatment for a client in Malaysia is confirmed on the quote, and we do not give tax advice.

- 02
We pick the simplest reliable route
A platform, a workflow or a little custom code — whichever is simplest and safest for this outcome.
- 03
Scope and price in writing
One scope and one price for you to approve. Nothing starts before you agree.
- 04
We build it with failure handling
Retries, duplicate protection and a named person told when something breaks, in accounts you own.
- 05
Test, monitor, hand over
We check it against real cases, agree who watches it, and document how it works and what to do when it fails.
