That is the confirmed, current position. Separately, Tolletaten states a next step of mandatory customs declaration at border crossing and the end of the direct-transport arrangement on 1 March 2027. That is announced, not in force, and plans have shifted before, so treat the date as provisional; until then, goods can be presented with a reference number.

Technical considerations
As published, Tolletaten describes submission through REST APIs with JSON, with authentication through Maskinporten using an enterprise certificate. As published, the driver or carrier submits the transport notification, a customs representative may do so on their behalf, and freight forwarders acting as customs representatives can submit master-consignment notifications. What stays with you and Tolletaten
The Maskinporten enterprise certificate and access approval, correct goods and classification data, all dealings with Tolletaten, and the decision whether a shipment needs clearance stay with you and your customs adviser. We build the record and the reference links; we do not submit anything to Tolletaten.
What needs API support or custom scope
Any live connection to Digitoll depends on your own approved access and is scoped per project after technical review. LATYNEX claims no Tolletaten integration or approval. The announced 1 March 2027 step is not built into the scope as a fixed requirement.
