Warehouse management software for Bordeaux wine stock held under duty suspension

Keep duty-suspended and duty-paid wine in one stock record, with the movement-document reference held against each movement instead of retyped from a spreadsheet.

Scope My Bordeaux WMS

As published by French customs, an approved warehousekeeper (entrepositaire agréé) keeps stock accounts organised by tax classification and volume, and for wine products the viticultural registers replace the standard accounts. Such operators circulate alcoholic beverages under accompanying documents (DAA-DAE and DSA) (as published — confirm current rules with your customs adviser). For a Bordeaux wine business, that makes the stock record the place where duty status and movement documents have to meet.

LATYNEX Digital implements warehouse software on its own WMS foundation. This page covers that work for Bordeaux-region wine merchants (négociants) and bonded-warehouse operators. The general overview is at Warehouse Management System (WMS), and the market overview is at LATYNEX Digital for businesses in Bordeaux.

Data handling
We apply a data-minimisation, consent-based standard as a working baseline, and delivery is remote. That is not a compliance certification and not legal advice; see the country page for the regime that applies.

What changes in this market

Under the rules described above, a stock account is organised by tax classification, and goods move under electronic accompanying documents (as published — confirm current rules with your customs adviser). GAMMA2 is French customs' online service for issuing, managing and receiving DAE, DAES, DSA and MVV documents (as published by French customs, page updated 2026-09-21). In practice the warehouse question becomes: for each lot, what is its tax classification, and which movement-document reference belongs to each movement in and out?

Why the global WMS page and the Bordeaux hub are not enough

The global WMS page describes the product in general terms, and the Bordeaux hub covers the market across services. Wine held under duty suspension adds a design question a generic WMS scope skips: the stock ledger has to carry the tax classification of each lot and the movement-document reference of each movement, and keep both when a lot is split, transferred or shipped. We settle that in scoping, before configuration.

What LATYNEX configures

The work stays inside your warehouse process and your records.

  • A stock ledger with tax classification held on each lot, so duty-suspended and duty-paid stock sit in one record and can be filtered apart
  • A movement-document reference field on receipts, transfers and shipments, entered or scanned rather than retyped later
  • Lots, locations and movements that keep classification and reference through splits and transfers
  • Adjustments and losses that need a reason and leave an audit trail
  • Exports of stock and movement history in the columns your adviser or customs contact asks for, so period-end accounts are not rebuilt from scratch

What stays with you, your adviser and customs

Issuing and receiving the movement documents, your warehousekeeper status, the viticultural registers, the legal position of each movement and any returns to customs stay with you, your customs adviser and the authorities. We give them cleaner inputs; we do not prepare, issue or file anything. If you need a rule confirmed, ask your adviser: everything on this page is as published and can change.

What needs API support or custom scope

Customs publishes EDI/API documentation for GAMMA2 (as published, page updated 2026-09-21). LATYNEX has no GAMMA2 integration. Any exchange with it, or with your ERP or accounting system, is scoped per project, through an API or webhook where the terms allow, after technical review, and the current terms would need to be confirmed at that point. Some systems will need custom scope.

What we do not do

LATYNEX is not an approved warehousekeeper, does not certify that a stock record meets excise or customs rules, does not give legal, customs or tax advice, and does not deliver in French. It is also not an ERP, MRP or MES system, and this page names no client.

How delivery actually works

LATYNEX Digital has no office in Bordeaux and does not claim one. We work with Bordeaux businesses remotely, over video calls and written updates, in English, with the same team and process as in every other market.

Questions

Do you have an office in Bordeaux?+

No. We work with businesses in Bordeaux remotely, over video calls and written updates, in English, and we do not imply a local presence.

Does the WMS make us compliant with excise or customs rules?+

No. We do not give legal, customs or tax advice and do not certify compliance. We build stock records that carry tax classification and movement-document references; whether they meet the rules is for your customs adviser to confirm.

Does it connect to GAMMA2?+

No integration is claimed. Customs publishes EDI/API documentation for the service; any connection would be scoped per project, through an API or webhook where the terms allow, after technical review.

Are you an approved warehousekeeper?+

No. That status belongs to the operator and is granted by customs. We build the software your warehouse team uses.

Can it replace our current stock spreadsheets?+

That is the usual starting point. We first map how duty-suspended and duty-paid stock is tracked today, then decide what to configure.

How are you invoiced, and in what currency?+

In EUR, by Latynex Trade OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (EU). Tax treatment for a client in France is confirmed on the quote, and we do not give tax advice.
